Earn Extra Cash In Your Spare Time

Monday, July 13th, 2009

No matter what you do for a living, there’s always an incentive to make more money. Maybe you’re trying to pay off credit card bills, save up for something special, or have a little cushion should something unexpected happen in your life.

It used to be that if you needed to make a bit of extra cash, you needed to pick up a second job, like bussing tables a few weekends a month or showing up early at the bakery to help with the ovens.

Now, thanks to the doors opened by the internet, and the ease of starting your own business, it’s gotten easier than ever to bring in some extra money without working yourself to death in the process.

Here are five ways you can make some extra cash in a pinch:

1. Sell your unused items. Your closets are probably filled with treasures like old board games and old books you can sell? Your closet could be filled with clothes that are slightly out of style or are just too small? Are your old computers taking up too much space? Sell them!

* Have a yard sale.?
* Sell your things to specialty shops like second hand clothing shops, used bookstores, used furniture stores, or even repair shops that need parts from what you have.?
* Use eBay. Lots of things without local markets have a national or global market, and there are people who’ll buy the oddest things on eBay.

You can sell all kinds of electronics, hardware, nik-naks, books and other little treasures on eBay. Chances are someone wants it and is willing to pay a premium for it.

2. Ask for a raise at your current job. There’s no doubt that asking for more money is difficult, especially during a recession, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Most people are too scared to ask for a raise, so you can use this to your advantage.

State your case from the last 10 months accomplishments, honors, and achievements.?

* Another way you may be able to make more cash at your job is to ask your boss if there’s extra work you can do to gain more hours or get paid more for increased responsibilities.

3. Trade skills for cash. Are you a skilled seamstress, writer, or graphic designer? There are countless websites where you can use your expertise to earn extra money.

Don’t know how to get started? Do an internet search. Resources abound on the ‘net that can help you find buyers for your skills.

4. Get a work from home job. There are lots of telephone based customer service jobs that you can do with just a computer and an Internet connection. Some of them pay remarkably well and all of them have relaxed dress codes to boot!

5. Start your own part-time business. Transform one of your hobbies or skills into a second business. There’s nothing quite as exhilarating as turning your love for something into a business and making it profitable.

Without much effort, you should be able to implement one of these ideas. Boost your income significantly by running a business from the comfort of your home. Take action and you can make more money!

Learn How To Find A Niche and Maybe This Time, You Can Earn As Much As You Want

Monday, June 29th, 2009

If you would like to be successful in online business, you should learn and understand more about Niche Marketing Strategy. What is Niche Marketing, by the way? According to Wikipedia, Niche Marketing is searching for a credible market base so that you can determine what type of products that you would like to offer to them. For instance, you found out that a lot of people today are looking for products that can help them cure cancer. So, you stick to that kind of niche and you go look for products for them and then, sell those products by becoming an affiliate. That’s how things work with niche marketing. And the astonishing thing is, you don’t need to reach to all the people regardless if they need your product or not.

In Niche affiliate marketing, you determine who the people are or the customers are who would really like to buy or try out your product that you have been promoting. There are other online businessmen quite prematurely because they did not first identify their own niche. They just continue endorsing hair loss products and even those who don’t have quagmire with hair loss are being constantly pested and worse, those who needed to buy hair loss creams or lotions were not informed about it.

There are many ways on how to reach out to your specific or probable customers. You can either do mass email marketing or you just need the raw system of finding your own niche and if you really want to be successful in this business, you need to learn first how to find a niche that you can call your own. If you are promoting a six-pack abs book guide, then, learn how to reach to people who really needed to develop their six-pack abs, no more, no less.

Dropshipping And Price Drops Means a Successful Ebay Online Business

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

Are you trying to run an eBay business? If so, then have you tried to find products that are priced low enough for you to make a profit? This is an obstacle that many people face every day as they try to get their new eBay business up and running. They find that they have to make price drops on their products in order to compete. This often happens at a loss to the seller. Finding wholesale product suppliers may be the answer to this problem. They will often drop ship items directly to your customers for you.

Eliminating the need to drop prices is a great profit maker for any eBay business. Wholesale dropshipping companies make this process really easy. They give you a list of dropshipping products to choose from and all you have to do is select the ones you wish to sell, copy and paste their html code to your eBay site, and you are ready to go. You process the orders from your customers and accept payments, then forward the orders and payments (at your wholesale price) to the supplier and you are done with the whole process. The supplier will then ship the items right to your customers for you. How much easier can a genuine online business get?

Price drops used to be a problem for sellers who stocked their own inventory. These drops in prices happened when the sellers found themselves with inventory that was not selling. Purchasing physical inventory is always a gamble, because you run the risk of it becoming outdated or going out of style. Using drop ship wholesale suppliers has eliminated this problem for many sellers. Not having to worry about this aspect can make the business run much smoother, because you will simply have more time to concentrate on other aspects of running your business.

Price drops used to be a problem for sellers who stocked their own inventory because they would often have to drop their prices to move some inventory and then the shipping costs would further eat up their profits. This is no longer the case. Wholesale drop shipping suppliers have streamlined the whole process by including the cost to drop ship items that they offer you, as the seller. Think about being able to run your own business and not having to worry about sending the product out to the customer; working with wholesale product suppliers allows you to do just that.

Going into business for yourself can be a tricky proposition. There is so much that you need to know about the economy and business practices. Many businesses go under the first year because the owners did not do the research that was needed. Most small business owners do not even know what drop shipping is or how it can affect their bottom line. If you are owning or running a business then you know that keeping an eye on finances is paramount to success. For more information: “Click Here

Cheap and Free Doggy Pictures – A Secret Cash Creator?

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

It could flabbergast you, but among the simplest items to sell on eBay is bits of paper. But only if you know the right type of paper to list.

Old pictures especially can sell very well in the world’s greatest online auction. Dogs are the one subject that make for an almost guaranteed sale.

It’s really true. It’s no exaggeration to say that dogs can put food on your table!

Finding and selling dog pictures to dog fans can be a smart little business. And surprisingly, few people are doing this yet — so you won’t have a lot of competition if you jump in right now. So, there’s room for more folks to get in and make money.

A wonderful aspect of this idea is that you can find your stock–dog prints, photos, etc.–practically for free. Then you turn around, selling the pictures for a nice gain on eBay.

Many individuals make not just a side income, but a full-time living doing this. You can specialize in dogs, but a few other subjects will do almost as well. Tall-masted sailing ships, and trains, are a couple that come to mind.

Now then, just how and where do you find such pictures — the ones of dogs, the ones that will earn you money? Would you believe, artwork that you can cut out of old books and magazines available for cheap or even free.

Believe this: Frequently, you can sell a single image from an old book for much more than the whole book cost. All you need to is find people who are hunting for the subject of a particular image.

Beyond doubt, the best-selling subject of old pictures is dogs. One segment of buyers like to collect any kind of dog picture. Others much prefer to collect images of a specific dog breed. For example, a poodle fanatic could have dozens and maybe even hundreds of paintings and prints of poodles displayed in his house or office.

It’s not difficult to find old books that are full of wonderful images of dogs. Many of them will have 15, 20, 30 or more of these plates.

When you find this type of book, you can carefully remove the pages with the illustrations, and mat them them individually. Get this: You can often turn around and sell them for $50, or a $100–or even more!–on eBay, the perfect place for selling such things.

One tip: Hunting breeds are the most highly prized subjects of old dog pictures. But you can sell photos and prints of practically any kind of dog for a good return on eBay.

Besides dogs, and trains and ships as mentioned, also keep an eye out for books with images of antique cars, pastoral scenes, world cities and horses. Several other subjecs also sell well.

To be a success in this, you must take time to learn where to find old books with the images that will sell. You must also learn how to remove the images so as to avoid damage. If you learn to mount your pictures and to present them in the most attractive manner possible, you will be ahead of the game. The authoritative source on all of this is How To Make Money By Tearing Up Old Books And Selling Them On eBay.

This is the bottom line? So, are you hoping to find a novel (and fun!) way to make money on the Internet? Well, then, the dog may truly be your best friend. (And here’s an objective look at the business of selling paper online.)
